Viewing collected data - the Reports
The Boss Everyware Reports is a tool to view the captured data in standard or customized reports.
A report is a read-only view of the collected data.
A saved report file contains statements specifying which data to show and how to show it, but not the data itself.
Standard reports
The Reports applications includes a set of standard reports that serve as a good starting point.
You may use those reports as is, or change them to suit your unique needs: apply additional grouping,
filter criteria, hide the unneeded columns and more. You may even to create the all-new reports from scratch.
When the Reports application is launched, it shows a list of standard reports that serve
as a good starting point. You may use those reports as is, or change them to suit your unique needs:

show the current week's data and read all the logs from the folder where this computer writes to.
Thus if you don't see the expected data, please check the Report Settings's Filter and Log files
pages.
Modifying a report
To modify a report, open the Report settings panel by pressing one of the following buttons:

Creating a report
Create a report by pressing
. You will see a blank report window and a Report Settings panel over it.
Set up all the report settings starting from the Data source, then click OK to view data.
To set the currently shown settings as default for future new reports, click
Save as default. The print settings adjusted in the Print Preview | Design Report
and Page Setup are also saved.
Saving and opening a report
You can save report into a file by pressing
.
To open a report, use
or the list of most recently used reports (above the list of Standard reports or menu File | Reopen).
Viewing data
To copy a selected part of the displayed data into the Clipboard, use
or the Ctrl-C key combination.
To find a required part of the data, use
and
.
If an opened report uses data from a log file where data are still being written, click
to update the report with the latest data.
Use
and
to discard or re-apply the last changes made to the report settings.
Printing a report
To print a report, click
Print Preview, then use
Design Report and
Page Setup to adjust the report layout, then print. The print settings that you have changed
will be saved in the report file along with the other report settings.
Exporting data
You can export data shown in the report into a HTML, Microsoft Excel or text file by pressing
and selecting the required file type.
Deleting older records
To delete older records from the log file, press
. In a non-grouped report, the program prompts you to delete all the
records older than the one where the cursor is. But you can specify any
date/time or clear the log completely.
