Uninstalling a deployed logger

To remove a Logger, installed via the deployment package, use the undeployer tool be3rmv.exe.

On the administrator's computer, be3rmv.exe is located in the Boss Everyware program folder, by default it is %PROGRAMFILES%\Boss Everyware 3. To make it available for monitored computers, copy be3rmv.exe to a network share.

To remove the Logger silently, without confirmation dialogs and notifications, use the command-line parameter /q. This allows to run be3rmv.exe from scripts or remotely.

If the Logger is password-protected, append password to the /q parameter:

be3rmv.exe /qpassword

The undeployer that is running by Run as adminisistrator feature removes both administrator- and user-type installs of the Logger. If it runs from a limited user account, it removes only the user-type install.

By default the undeployer removes also the found loggers of the Boss Everyware version 2. To keep these, use the command-line parameter /2:

be3rmv.exe /q /2

Please note that be3rmv.exe uninstalls the Boss Everyware logger installed by deployment package only. To remove a fully installed Boss Everyware, use Control Panel | Uninstall a program.
