Viewing data

The loggers have been installed, and now Pete is ready to see what's going on on all the computers in his office.

First, he wants to know what applications were used. Pete runs Report Manager and creates a new report. He lists the log files:

Then Pete moves to the 'Columns' page and groups data by Computer / User / Application, making all other fields hidden:

He clicks 'OK' - and here is the result:

 

The next question is what web sites were visited. Pete clicks on to open 'Report Settings -- Columns' page, hides unneeded fields and makes 'URL'  visible:

To show only domain names instead of complete URLs, Pete turns on 'Data format' page and clears 'Show full URLs' option:

Pete clicks 'OK':
