Report Settings - Arranging columns

Column order and visibility

You can set the column order and visibility at the Columns page of the Report Settings panel.

Each line of the log file contains ten information fields, displayed as columns. These fields are:

Date - Date of window activation
Start Time - Time of window activation
Duration - How long the window was active (HH:MM:SS)
Computer - Computer name
User - User login name
Application - Program file name or user activity status
Main Window - Program main window caption
Active Window - Active window caption
URL - URL (written if Application is a web-browser)
Keystrokes - Keys which were hit while the window was active

There are two column lists: all the columns in the left list will be displayed in the report grid; the columns in the right list will not be displayed. The leftmost column in the report is the first one in the list. To move a visible column, change its place in the list using drag-and-drop, or the and buttons. To hide or show a column, move it to the appropriate list with drag-and-drop, or by clicking on the and buttons.

The Columns page of the Report settings is also used to define grouping rules.

Setting the column width

To change the column width, just drag its border in the header area.

To adjust the automatic width setting, open the Display page. There are three options you can choose from:

As Is - save current column widths. Useful to save widths which were altered by drag-and-drop directly on the grid.

Auto fit - width of each column is automatically set to show all column content.

Auto, max width: ... - the same as Auto fit, except the width cannot exceed the specified value.
